What is a session like?

My sessions are usually very laid back and fun. I love taking a mix of posed and lifestyle photos during the session. Many of my clients and their kids often tell me how much fun they had. I love what I do and try my best to make it a wonderful experience for you and your family.

Where do you shoot?

I love shooting photos at Lebanon Hills Visitor Center and around Schulz Lake in Eagan and also at Holz Farm in Eagan. Those two places are where I typically shoot all of my sessions. I find that these places, especially Lebanon Hills, have a lot of options for beautiful backgrounds - forest, bridge, water, sand, benches, etc. I am also able to meet you at another outdoor location of your choice within the surrounding area if you would prefer.

What time of day are the sessions?

There are many options. Most of my sessions are done within 2-3 hours of sunset. But I do offer limited daytime sessions when needed.

When and how will I get the photos?

Depending on the package that you choose, generally after the session, you'll be given a proof gallery (roughly 1-week turnaround) where you can pick out the photos that you want to keep. Once you’ve done this, I then add you to my edit list. (roughly 1-2 week turnaround) I fully edit those photos and add those into a new gallery that you can download and print where you choose.

How will you use our photos?

Typically I add a few of my favorite photos from each session to my online portfolios on my Enchanted Elements Photography Facebook Page and here on this website. I also use the photos for advertisements such as mini or holiday photography sessions with me for the purposes of procuring new photography clients. I never sell your images to third parties such as stock photo websites.

If you would like to keep your photos private, please let me know. I do charge a "non-usage" fee of 20% of the session cost. This fee is intended to offset the loss of marketing opportunities. A photographer's portfolio is a very important piece of their business to show to potential new clients and without it, a photographer cannot keep their business running efficiently.
